Tanging Ina

Three dead husbands and twelve children to take care of. What is a modern-day working mother to do?

Ina (Ai-Ai delas Alas) is completely clueless on how to be an income provider and a homemaker at the same time given the dwindling finances of her household. As she desperately hides from her children her all-out effort to make both ends meet, her children grow resentful of her as she unknowingly becomes part of their own problems. She tries to give the very best of practically everything for her children, but seems that her best are never good enough. Funnily yet poignantly, Ina rallies her cause with all the courage she could muster-- to be the best mother she knows how.

Iskul Bukol 20 Years After

Iskul Bukol ran on Philippine television for ten highly successful years from 1978 to 1987. The first of the one hour and a half sitcoms, it chronicled the ups and downs of college life in the fictional Wanbol University, where storylines ran chiefly around the doings of campus hooligans in the persons of half-siblings Tito (Tito Sotto) and Joey Escalera (Joey de Leon) that make probinsiyano Victorio Ungasis (Vic Sotto) miserable.

Now, they’re back! This time on the big screen.

The Escalera brothers reunite with their old friend Vic Ungasis, who has now become a famous archaeologist. Together, they go on a wacky adventure in search of a magical silver coin that supposedly has the power to grant immortality to the bearer.

Ang Cute ng Ina Mo

Christine (Anne Curtis) can think of 101 reasons why her dad must not marry her mom. The number one reason is that Georgia (Ai-ai delas Alas), her mother, disappeared from her life twenty years ago and never came back. Now Christine is confused: Why does her father want to marry her mom, who had caused them so much heartache?
Christine tells her father that she will go to the Philippines to find out if Georgia is indeed worthy of his love. However, her real plan is to look for evidence to discredit her mom in her dad's eyes, so she can prevent the wedding. With the help of her Pinay yaya, Nanny Ninonu (Eugene Domingo), she captures with a videocam every little imperfection that she finds in her mom.
When Christine goes to her mother's town in Malabon, what starts out as an investigation turns out to be a hilarious yet touching journey for both mother and daughter. Christine's outrageous attempts to expose her mother's flaws are all foiled, as Georgia also comes up with hysterical schemes to win her daughter's love. Meanwhile, things get more riotous when Nanny Ninonu's blind heart falls for Junjun (John Lapuz), who is obviously gay.
Again and again, Christine is frustrated as no matter how she tries to harden her own heart, she cannot help but fall in love with her mother's town and its people, especially Val (Luis Manzano), Georgia's anak-anakan. Through Val's eyes, she reluctantly begins to see what it means to have a real mother.
Despite his feelings of attraction towards Christine, however, Val is suspicious of Christine's intentions. What happens if he discovers Christine's secret plot to discredit Georgia ? Will Georgia have a place in Christine's life? Can Christine learn to accept Georgia as her mother, even if she discovers a dark secret in her mother's past?
Eventually, Christine's search for her mother's faults leads her to a discovery of true love. In trying to uncover her mother's hidden scandals, she manages to unlock her secrets to heartfelt motherhood and simple happiness.
